Additional requirement for Dutch highly skilled migrant permit
Per 1 January 2011 an application for a higly skilled migrant residence permit will also be assessed on the basis of the market conformity of the salary. If the agreed salary is not market conform, the application will be rejected. The Ministry of Social Affairs will assess the market conformity.
The existing requirement is the salary threshold: to qualify for a residence permit as a highly skilled migrant the immigrant must earn, if elder than 30 years of age, a gros annual salary of € 50.183 and € 36.801 if younger than 30.
