Increasing number of highly skilled migrants in 2016
In 2016 a total number of 13,600 applications for highly skilled migrants were filed. This is an application for the purpose of highly skilled migrant, EU Blue Card, or search year highly educated foreigner. In total 93% of this number were granted. In 2015 this number was 12,320, of which 92% was granted.
The top 3 nationalities are India, USA and China. This is the same as in 2015.
