The Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) recently published an updated list of nationalities that do not have to undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test when arriving in the Netherlands. Most important change is the following: new on the list of TB-test exempted nationals are nationals from China and Russia.
For nationals of countries that are not on this list, it is mandatory to undergo a TB-test. Within 3 months after receiving the residence permit card in the Netherlands, the foreign national must schedule an appointment with the Dutch National Public Health Center (GGD) to undergo the TB-test. Non compliance may result in cancellation of the permit.
