Family reunification will be restricted
The proposed restrictions on family reunification will take effect per 1 October 2012. As of 1 October 2012 only married partners and registered partners of EU Blue Card holders are entitled for a visa and residence permit for family reunification. Unmarried partners will no longer be eligible for family reunification.
