Most expats from India, USA and UK visiting IN Amsterdam

21 September 2018 The Expat Center Amsterdam, recently renamed to International Newcomers Amsterdam (IN Amsterdam) has published some figures about the number of expats using their services regarding issuance of permit cards and registration in the Dutch national population register.

The number of expats visiting IN Amsterdam has risen from 6,393 in 2013 to 14,784 in 2017, and expectedly around 18,000 in 2018.

From this number of 14,784, a total of 9,588 were nationals from non EU countries. These are holders of a highly skilled migrant permit, EU Blue Card or intra corporate transferee permit.

In 2017 most expats are nationals from:
-        India (3,405)
-        United States of America (1,342)
-        United Kingdom (1,117).

Followed by Turkey (579), Russia (524), Brazil (463) and China (303).
